Famtra was established in July 04, 2013 GC. The company was formed as a private limited company. With the visionary aim of taking Famtra to a greater level.

The founders of the business are Ethabezahu Fikru and Fassil Nigussie who have extensive knowledge and experience on the field of logistics, international trade service and Ethiopian Export/Import practice. The main business focus, back when it was established revolved around the tour and travel business sector. The business was organized as private limited company with the central objective of tour operator, travel agency and related activities.
